Neatishead Baptist 200

In 2011 Neatishead Baptist Church will be celebrate its 200th Anniversary. We are planning a year of special events and reports, the key events being the Harvest Anniversary Services in October 2011 and a weekend of outreach in June.

Did you attend the church, Sunday School or Youth Groups, carve your name on the brickwork, get married here or are your relatives buried in either of the graveyards?
We need your information, memories, photographs and memorabilia, please!

A big Thank you to those who have already been in touch and supplied copies of marriage certificates, photographs or information about ancestors who had links with the church.

It has been good to
meet an American descendent of one of the early ministers of the church,
Rev. Samuel Nash (1867-69);
meet American descendants of one of the Sunday School pupils of around the same era.
And to hear, from the USA, from the great-great-great grandson of two of the founder members.
All these contacts help us realise how the past is actively linked to the present.
