Here and Now
A church is much more than a building, it’s people
We are a small and growing congregation. But people remark on the big welcome they receive.
Our pastor, Reverend Sue Seeley, joined us in February 2004. Sue is also involved with the local school and the Friends and Neighbours group.
Our church: Numbers are increasing and people are growing in their faith. Average congregations are around 30 with a formal membership of 22. We also take a monthly service at a local home for the elderly, so those who can no longer attend worship at church are not forgotten. Other churches: We enjoy good relations with the local Anglican and Methodist churches. See Links with Others for further details.
Caring for those connected with the church and the community is one aspect of our service. All proceeds from our Coffee Mornings go to local charities. So we also support Tools with a Mission, BMS World Mission ( the Baptist missionary society) and Kanaan Haz, an orphanage in Hungary.
For what 's happening in the church see the Church Magazine, Regular Meetings and Other Events.
