Pictures - Events 2010
We share not only in Sunday worship and the weekly Prayer and Bible Studies but also at special events. Here's a selection from 2010.
September: Sue and Tony's 40th Wedding Anniversary
As Sue and Tony have no family and as their anniversary was on a Sunday, we gave them a celebration lunch after the service.

August: Tea at Sheringham
We support a Children's Home in Hungary. So it was lovely to meet a few of these young people at a tea we provided in Sheringham.

Another church provided new clothes to take home and a present each. Both were quickly unwrapped and used! To thank everyone the young people did a dance which included the message they'd learned during the week.
August: Retreat
Our theme was Change and Transformation - how our circumstances change and also how God can transform us.

July:BBQ Many thanks to the Lamb Family

July: Book Launch
We are delighted to have Christine Moore, a published author, as a member of our congregation. In July we launched her first book Going Astray. What turns a church into a cult? "This book is unlike anything else on the market at the moment - a page-turner. Issues of healing, gifts of the Spirit, faithfulness in marriage and discipleship are dealt with in a thoughtful but challenging way ....." Rob & Marion White, Mainstream Network Ministries
(Christine assures us that NBC was not her inspiration!) ISBN 978-0-9555283-9-2 Sunpenny Publishing www.sunpenny.com or from your local Christian book shop
May: Holiday Club for Grown-Ups
The theme was "Priorities". How do we decide? And can the Bible help? As can be seen the participants are very "grown-up", but that doesn't stop us having a lot of fun as well as dealing with the serious bits. Our HCGUs have featured as an outreach idea in the magazine "Inspire" in May 2010 and on Page 4 of "Impact" - the Spring 2011 Rural Ministries magazine (latter downloadable).

April: 30s-60s at Barton Boardwalk
This Boardwalk is just up the road from the church. The 30s-60s Social Group meets monthly and goes to places of local interest. Pastor Sue - who normally takes all the photos and so does not appear in them - is on the left.
Good Friday Breakfast 2010
We also share Communion after the Good Friday Breakfast
